Learn science the inquiry way

I help students think like scientists

Hi, I'm Divya Pavani Reddy — a middle-school science educator with 6+ years of experience across Physics, Chemistry & Biology in the IB curriculum. I run small, focused private classes where every learner is seen, questioned and challenged.

Teaching with curiosity, structure & care

I don't just deliver content — I design inquiry-driven lessons that mirror how the IB MYP actually assesses young scientists.

Divya Pavani Reddy — Science educator specialising in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for middle-school grades 6–8 in the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP).

My classes are guided by Statements of Inquiry, built around the Key and Related Concepts, and anchored to IB Criteria A–D so students develop real conceptual understanding — not just memorised answers.

What a student gets

  • Inquiry-first lessons — every unit opens with a question, not an answer, sparking genuine curiosity before content is introduced.
  • Criterion-aligned practice — assessments mapped to IB Criteria A–D with behaviour-based feedback and command-word badges so students know the expected depth.
  • Lab & simulation work — hands-on investigations plus guided virtual labs that make abstract concepts visible and testable.
  • Individual progress tracking — parents get monthly summaries of their child's strengths, misconceptions and next steps.

Interactive inquiry boards

Each discipline runs as a digital inquiry board — Statement of Inquiry, Key Concepts, unit progress and criteria tags at a glance. Hover any card to see its glow.

What families say

A few words from parents and students I've had the privilege to teach in recent years.

My daughter used to struggle with conceptual questions in physics. After three months with Ms. Divya, she explains forces and energy to us at the dinner table. Her MYP grade went from a 4 to a 7.

The way she connects chemistry to everyday life is remarkable. Baking, batteries, even cooking — everything became a lesson. My son now asks "why" before he memorises anything.

Ms. Divya made science my favourite subject. The unit boards and lab simulations she builds are like mini games. I finally understood the DNA double helix because she made it with a zipper!

As a teacher myself, I'm picky about tutors. Her command of the IB criteria and the feedback she gives on each criterion is genuinely professional. Highly recommended for MYP students.

Frequently asked questions

Everything parents usually ask before booking their child's first class.

I specialise in middle school — Grade 6, 7 and 8 — following the IB MYP framework for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I regularly support students from other curricula too (IGCSE, CBSE, ICSE) on core concepts, but my unit design follows the IB inquiry model.
Both. I offer individual private classes and very small groups (2–4) of students from similar grade levels. Small groups keep the energy of discussion while still allowing personal attention. You can note your preference in the inquiry form.
Each unit is framed by a Statement of Inquiry and the relevant Key / Related Concepts. Every assessment explores IB Criteria A–D, and I use command-word badges (Describe, Analyze, Evaluate…) so students instantly know the depth expected in a task.
Yes. I frame PhET-style simulations and guided virtual labs inside clean, focused workflows — my students run experiments for forces, circuits, chemical reactions and cell processes before we formalise the theory. This builds true conceptual intuition.
Pricing depends on group size, frequency and subject load. Please fill the inquiry form or WhatsApp me at 7032097630 and I'll share a personalised plan within 24 hours. The first discovery session is free.
Always. Each student gets concept-check homework between sessions and a monthly progress summary mapped to IB criteria, so parents see exactly which skills are strengthening and what misconception we're working to fix.
